" "At a joint press conference in the Rose Garden, Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair shrugged off Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's recent remark that the plan is a 'lethal blow' to Palestinians. 'It will bring their dreams to an end,' he told the Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv."  Editor's Note: The United Nations does not recognize the Israeli claim to Palestinian land in the West Bank. The Palestinian land was taken when the Israelis created illegal settlements in key areas of the West Bank. The settlements will make a true Palestinian state impractical because of a loss of contiguous territory. The stated purpose of the American and British leaders, that they are supporting a Palestinian state, is certainly untrue. As American and British leaders support Israeli theft of essential Palestinian land, they are helping to incite Palestinian reprisals.
